Privacy Policy

What we collect. Your email address, a securely hashed password (we never store your actual password), your language preference, and the content you create — recipe books, recipes, and any photos you upload.

No email verification. CBK does not verify email addresses at signup. This means account creation is fast, but we can't confirm an email actually belongs to the person who registered it.

How it's stored. CBK runs on infrastructure we operate ourselves — your data isn't hosted on or shared with third-party cloud platforms beyond what's needed to run the app.

Sharing. If you generate a private share link for a recipe or book, anyone with that link can view it — treat it like you would any private link. If you send a recipe or book to another CBK user directly, they receive their own copy. You can revoke a share link at any time.

What we don't do. We don't sell your data, show ads, or share your information with advertisers or data brokers.

Your rights. You can request a copy of your data or ask us to delete your account and its contents at any time by emailing info@josephkhaouly.com.

Changes. This policy may be updated as the app evolves; the "last updated" date above will reflect that.
