Terms of Service

These terms are written in plain language because CBK is a small, independently operated project, not a company with a legal department. By using CBK, you agree to the following:

The service. CBK is provided free of charge, as-is, with no guaranteed uptime, availability, or feature set. It may change, be paused, or be discontinued at any time. We'll try to give notice before anything that affects your data, but we can't promise it.

Your content. Recipes, books, and photos you create remain yours. By uploading them, you're giving CBK permission to store them and display them back to you, and to anyone you explicitly choose to share them with (via a link, a PDF export, or the in-app send feature). We don't claim ownership of what you create, and we don't use it for anything beyond running the service for you.

Acceptable use. Don't upload illegal content, content you don't have the right to share, or use the app to harass or harm others. We reserve the right to suspend or remove accounts that violate this.

No warranty. CBK is provided without warranties of any kind. We're not liable for lost data, though we do maintain backups on a best-effort basis. Keep your own copies of anything irreplaceable.

Changes. These terms may be updated as the app evolves. Continued use after a change means you accept the update.
